Our full life-cycle systems capabilities include system design, integration and test, software development engineering, and maintenance and integrated logistics support. BAE Systems is seeking former military pilots with significant experience in the T-45A or T-45C Goshawk aircraft. Successful applicant will conduct functional check flights, aircraft ferry flights and miscellaneous other missions. Candidate will assist the maintenance manager in fault isolation and troubleshooting as required and will be an integral member of our quality management team. Responsibilities include: Performing functional check flights in accordance with NAVAIR technical manuals and NATOPS procedures. Ferrying aircraft from off site locations to suitable bases as directed by the government. Assisting Maintenance personnel when required in peforming fault isolation, troubleshooting and diagnosing problems that cannot be duplicated when not airborne. Assisting the management team in identifying process improvement efforts and leading process improvement teams within the maintenance department. Supervising the company's pilot training program and ensuring that all staff pilots maintain qualifications and certifications to continue to support Navy flight operations. This position is located in Meridian Mississippi. Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to Meridian or surrounding areas. Must have the following: Bachelor's degree and 6 years related experience FAA commercial commercial licence, instrument rating with single engine privileges FAA Class II flight physical 2,000 hours total fixed wing pilot time Current or prior FCF qualificaton 500 pilot hours in T-45 Must maintain Naval Aviation Survival Training qualification Must maintain all NATOPS qualifications and perform an anuual check ride with the government Preferences: Experience as aircraft commander in both T-45A and T-45C is desired Background in financial management, accounting, aero engineering or information technology People are the greatest asset in any Company ...
